Higher than I'd like to give. Quite honestly, I'm not sure they are in existance anymore, except for a small sign on the door that read "Gambrinus Brewing - Use Back Door". The back door was down an alley that I did not want to walk down on a rainy night. Maybe someone has some info about this brewery. (Date added: 6/18/98) This brewery defiles the deep history of the name and brewing tradition. I have sampled their beers on and off over 2 year. I keep hoping for a good one, but the Pale Ale and Golden have been consistently awful. The Bock, when fresh, is not tasty but goes bad quickly. The Cherry Lam is really rough. Woe to those who bought stock in this turkey! (Date added: 12/30/97) "Gambrinus Brewing Company is going public. More information at their web page. |
