Well done beers by a knowledgeable and experienced brewer. Hefe-Weizen is of the authentic Bavarian style, not the insipid Americanized style, and quite tasty too! Didn't have food. Pub is a little odd in layout/decor, but not annoying. MUCH better beer than down the street at Main Street. (Date added: 3/28/98) Great beers, good food, good location. And the owner is a super guy! (Date added: 10/22/97)
Anon. Good beers, but a little dirty tasting. (Rushed???). Good alternative and right around the corner on 12th street from the always over-crowded Main Street Brewing in Cincinnati. I gave this brewery a 3 because I felt that the food was not done as well as it should be. The beer is good, however. An interesting banana flavoring to the Weisen. I recommend the Redleg Red Ale. I remember having a porter that was tasty as well. |
