Broad Ripple Brewing Company (Indianapolis) has started expanding their pub. They will also be adding pizza to their menu! Indianapolis Brewing Company -- the first micro in Indiana -- has closed it's doors. IBC's equipment and lease have been purchased by Oaken Barrel Brewing Company out of Greenwood. Look for Oaken Barrel to start brewing their signature beers there soon for distribution in the Indianapolis Area. In addition, look for IBC to possibly resurface as a third party contract brew sometime in the not too distant future. 2, yes 2 new brewpubs are planned for Evansville, Firkin Brewpub, and another one from one of the chains out of Colorado! Oaken Barrel Brewing Company in Greenwood has recently started bottling their beer. Look for it in your local liquor store soon!
