A great brewpub that makes some superb beers and has a large selection of imported (even a Belgian Trappist Ale) and microbrewed beers on tap. Their IPA was well balanced with a unique Columbus hop finish and aroma. (Date added: 9/14/97)

The Code Blue Barelywine was the first one I found drinkable. The sweetness was balanced with everything wlse. I most enjoyed their Imperial Stout it was very smooth for a strong beer. I would stop there again if I were in the area. (Date added: 9/14/97)

Very good place to sip a few beers. Nice beers make by Pacific Coast, and also a good, changing collection of beers from other micros. The old backbar is very classic. Easy to get to by BART in downtown Oakland. Not a bad place to stop before an A's game. (Date added: 6/3/97)
