Ken Dow This is a great microbrewery; we go there all the time. My favorite is Red Roost. Sometime there are great seasonal brew. The map is wrong: The brewery is where the B in Bishop appears on the map. (Date added: 6/7/97) Food, service and beer are outstanding. The location in La Jolla typifies a classic California beach community. One of our favorite hang-outs. The brewing team of Jon Atwater, Ben ? & Jim Weiner are a prime example of a well-run operation, and the beer reflects this in it's consistant quality. Although nobody is perfect, the La Jolla Brewery is the closest I've come across in the last 5 years. |
